Our Programming
At Wii Care Atlanta, our programs are designed to meet the community where it is—with compassion, consistency, and a commitment to healing. Rooted in relationship-building and led by those with deep ties to the neighborhoods we serve, our work focuses on interrupting cycles of violence, empowering youth, and fostering community resilience. Through a combination of prevention, intervention, and leadership development, we offer pathways to safety, opportunity, and lasting change.
Community-Based Violence Intervention & Healing
Brave Space (Lane 1 Program)
In partnership with Girassol Wellness, Brave Space is an 8-week curriculum designed to support youth through mental health awareness, relational skill-building, and resilience training. Meeting once a week for two hours, this program creates a safe and supportive environment for youth to explore healthy conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and stress management strategies.
Youth Employment, Leadership Development, & Mental Health
Wii Care Youth Employment Program
Serving youth and young adults ages 14–24 in Atlanta’s NPU-V area, this summer program provides employment, leadership training, and life skills development for those impacted by or at risk for involvement in gun violence. Participants gain hands-on work experience while receiving support in setting personal goals, practicing ethical leadership, and developing decision-making and conflict mediation skills.
The program also offers monthly mental health and wellness sessions, creating space for reflection and emotional growth. While optional, youth are strongly encouraged to attend.
By investing in these young leaders, we aim to strengthen community ties, promote personal transformation, and build sustainable alternatives to violence—preparing youth to perform with purpose, pride, and professionalism.
